Indy Power Rankings for the Week of April 17th, 2017

#1 Travis Banks (@Travis_BanksPW)-This week we get our first-ever talent from New Zealand at #1 as the Fight Club PRO Champion and ½ of the Revolution Pro Tag Team Champions scores his first #1 ranking after a tremendous weekend in the UK. He teamed with Chris Brookes at RevPro on 4/13 to defeat Martin Stone & Sami Callihan to retain the titles, then defeated Will Ospreay at Fight Club Pro on 4/14 to retain their title, then defeated Mark Haskins on 4/15 to retain again, and then defeated Zack Sabre Jr on 4/16 to retain again to go 4-0 for the week. In one week he beat multiple former #1’s to EASILY get a sweep of the official voters’ ballots at #1. Banks is a talent who has quietly been putting together a lot of wins over the last couple of years and now he has smashed through the glass ceiling of the Indy Power Rankings.

#2 Logan Easton Laroux-It’s the first time in the Indy Power Rankings for Logan Easton Laroux and it’s a good one as he comes in at #2 this week. He put together a great weekend as he beat David Starr in the first round of the Nova Pro Wrestling Commonwealth Cup on 4/14, then beat Chet Sterling and John Kermon in the semifinals in an elimination match, and then beat Arik Royal in the finals to win the tournament to go 3-0 for the week. This was a great collection of wins for Laroux as you’ve got a couple of former #1’s (Starr and Royal) who were beaten on his path to winning the Commonwealth Cup. Keep an eye on him as 2017 rolls on.

#3 Aaron Epic (@AaronEpic83)-Florida produces another top ranking as Aaron Epic comes in high after a fantastic weekend in the Sunshine State. ½ of the Orlando Pro Wrestling Intergender Tag Team Champions and NEW Ignite Wrestling Undisputed Champion gets his highest ranking to date as he defeated Chasyn Rance at Big Time Wrestling on 4/14, then beat Maxx Stardom at Ignite on 4/15 in the first round of the title tournament, then beat Jon Cruz in the second round, and then beat Alex Cruz in the finals to win the vacant title to go 4-0 for the week. We say this almost every week, but honestly, if it wasn’t for the phenomenal weeks of Laroux and Banks, we may have seen Epic with his first (singles) #1 this week.

#4 Trey Miguel (@TreyMiguel1)-It’s a week where some new stars began to shine as Trey Miguel now gets his highest ranking ever. The Rockstar Pro American Luchacore Champion defeated Cole Radrick in a non-title match on 4/12, then beat Johnathan Wolf at IWA Mid-South on 4/13, and then beat Jordan Kage on 4/15 to go 3-0 for the week. This is a talent who is REALLY starting to get his name out there everywhere as he continues to travel with a lot of the Rockstar Pro talent in Ohio from town to town putting on show stealing performances. Trey Miguel is likely a name that you’ll be hearing in our rankings for quite some time.

#5 Mexxberg aka Mexx-We get representation coming out of shows in Austria this week as the NEW UKWA Champion won the vacant title as he defeated Julian Nero in the first round at Ultimate Kombat Wrestling Association in Austria on 4/15, then defeated Juvenile X in the semifinals, and then defeated Demolition Davies in the final the same day to win the title to go 3-0 for the week. We’ve seen Mexx in or around the rankings before, but he’s back now after winning a tournament to pick up a title. In a very busy week of competition, a #5 ranking is something to be proud of.
#6 Aidan Blackhart
#7 Dave Crist
#8 Penta El Zero M
#9 People’s Champ. Jon Davis (@JonDavis817)-This powerhouse RETURNS to the Indy Power Rankings on the strength of his fans who pushed him into ANOTHER victory in the online voting competition. The multiple-time People’s Champ picked up a HUGE victory over the weekend as he defeated Dagon Briggs in a Steel Cage Match to win the USWA Title. Davis is also the current FIP Florida Heritage Champion. You can give a like to his Facebook page here: and promoters can book the big man at
