Indy Power Rankings for the Week of October 3rd, 2016

#1 Fred Yehi (@FredYehi)-The FIP World Champion has been having a phenomenal year and it climaxes with his first #1 ranking after a big weekend for the champ. First, he defeated Ashton Starr at WWA4 on 9/29, then he beat Caleb Konley and Martin Stone at FIP on 9/30 to retain the title on LIVE IPPV, and then he beat Izzy Sik on 10/2 to go 3-0 for the week. We’ve known Fred Yehi as a rising star since early last year and he just continues to prove himself to the world. It appears that he may have a future date with FIP Florida Heritage Champion Martin Stone in singles competition and if he can vanquish yet another challenger, it’s likely you’ll see him in the Top 10 yet again.
#2 Nick “Magnus” Aldis (@MagnusOfficial)-What a run it’s been lately for the GFW World Champion as he has taken his title up to Canada and absolutely DOMINATED CWE in Canada on one of their very lengthy tours. He moves up from #4 to #2 this week as he defeated Wavell Starr at CWE on 9/26 to retain the title, then defeated Tommy Lee Curtis on 9/27 to retain the title again, then fought Mr Inkredible to a no contest on 9/28, then defeated Buddy Collins on 9/29 to retain again, then defeated Danny Duggan on 9/30 to retain again, and then defeated Shane Sabre on 10/1 to retain yet again to go 5-0-1 for the week. It’s been an INSANE run for Magnus as he is 10-0-1 at CWE.
#3 Mark Haskins (@FightHaskins)-Like Magnus, Mark Haskins moves up from #5 to #3 this week after collecting yet another title and prestigious tournament win in the UK. The PROGRESS, Smash, 4FW Junior Heavyweight, FNW British and NEW SWE Speed King Champion defeated Stevie Boy at SWE on 10/1 in the first round and then defeated Will Ospreay, Robbie X, Matt Cross, Bubblegum & Sami Callihan in a six-way final to win the title to go 2-0 for the week. It’s really getting difficult to describe the recent success of Mark Haskins as he has really become the UK version of Ultimo Dragon with his propensity for collecting titles. Look for him to make a big splash in this year’s IPR 100 along with a ton of other British talent.
#4 Tessa Blanchard (@TeamTBlanchard)-The talented beauty gets back into the Top 10 this week as the Remix Pro Champion defeated Leva Bates, Jordynne Grace, and Britt Baker in a Four-Way at Remix Pro to retain the title on 10/1. She turned around and defeated the 2014 IPR 100 #1 in Ricochet at Beyond Wrestling on 10/2 to go 2-0 for the week. The victory over Ricochet was possibly the biggest victory of her young career as the 48th ranked wrestler in the 2014 IPR 100 looks to make a push for this year’s Top 100 after BARELY missing out on the Top 100 last year.
#5 James Anthony (@87JamesAnthony)-It was a combination of the fans (6th in the online voting competition with 22 votes) and the official voters that recognized James Anthony’s great weekend and pushed him into the Top 5 this week. The former People’s Champ, current AIWF Mid-Atlantic Cruiserweight Champion and NEW RWC No Limitz Champion (for a 4th time) defeated Shane Martin at Danger Zone on 9/29 to retain the AIWF title, then defeated KrazyHorse at RWC on 10/1, then defeated Eddie McCoy the same day to win the title, and then was last man eliminated in a battle royal the same night to go 3-1 for the week. The voters didn’t see any issue with the battle royal elimination as he is voted into the #5 spot this week. Like Tessa, he’s on the hunt for a solid ranking in the IPR 100 this year once again.
#6 Mustafa Ali
#7 Chase Owens
#8 Alpha Female
#9 Takuya Sugawara
#10 People’s Champ. Jon Davis (@JonDavis817)-The dominant powerhouse stepped into FIP’s Hoss Division Elimination Fray on 9/30 and came out on top after toppling Rhett Giddins, Deimos, Odinson, Jojo Bravo, Monster Tarver, and “War Pig” Jody Kristofferson. Proving that he’s still very popular, his fans rallied behind him and collected 139 votes to help him win the online voting competition and People’s Champ award for the second time. He has not missed a step as he continues to prove that he’s one of the most powerful men in wrestling. You can give a like to his Facebook page here: and promoters can book the big man at

Edit: In probably the most selfless move by anyone who has ever won the online voting competition, Jon Davis has given up his “People’s Champ” win this week in favor of Danny Demanto who suffered a horribly gruesome injury to his leg and is likely going to be forced to retire from in-ring competition. Please send well wishes, prayers, positive vibes, and messages to and let him know that you appreciate him putting his body on the line as a professional wrestler. Thank you to Jon Davis and best wishes to Danny Demanto in getting healthy.
